When you are healing from being controlled

2 Corinthians 12:9

Christ's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness.

When you are healing from being controlled. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Healing does not require pretending it did not hurt. Jesus Christ can meet you in the wound without letting the wound become your identity. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
